West Pennant Hills-Cherrybrook Lions Club has sponsored two Leo Clubs on our area.
The Omega level Leo Club of Cherrybrook has been running for many years now and would have the largest membership in Australia.
The Alpha school based Leo Club of Normanhurst Boys High School is a recent club. Both are very active and have done some amazing things. There have also been many joint projects with the senior Lions Club.
Cherrybrook Leos – President Nihara has been an amazing leader. They have several club functions as well as fund raising for the drought and Bush fires. Cherrybrook Leos run an open air movie night and host a huge formal Ball with great success. They also have a close link with Inala Special Facility & School. The club caters for leadership & personal development of high school leavers and university students. Whilst being a very social group they are certainly focused on providing service for the betterment of the wider community. The Cherrybrook Leos have run two seasons of Lions Youth Of The Year.

Normanhurst Boys High School Leos – The lads from this club are very energetic and are involved in diverse range of extracurricular activities. They have been very active in promoting leadership skills via community service both inside and outside of the school. They have organised Bunnings BBQs, visited aged care facilities taking games, musical performances & read to residents. Their club has spent time supporting both the Leo Club of Cherrybrook & our Lions Club projects. The boys supported game fun days, movie nights as well as having their own drought & bush fire appeals. The school Leo Club sponsored National Finalist Marko Beocanin in the 2019 Youth Of The Year.
