Our club champions the needs of our youth through local primary and high schools by providing Citizenship Awards at end of year presentation day. It’s important to acknowledge and encourage the good deeds of our young students so they may go forward into our communities as good role models to others. The Club has been active in this project since its founding.
Some of our awards provide the winners with the opportunity to support worthy charities. The awards are worth currently $300. And those funds are donated to the charity of choice by the winning student. This Lions International project fosters an awareness and a culture of giving throughout the school population.
